In Brooklyn, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

5-Star Review: This is hands down the best pizza Iโve had in years, and Iโm not saying that lightly. I own five restaurants and have eaten pizza all over the USA, but this place sits comfortably in my top three nationwide. The sauce hits perfectly: tangy, with just the right balance of salt and sweetness. The crust is ideal, not too thin, not too thick, with that perfect chew. The cheese is gooey, high-quality, and melts exactly how you want it to. Itโs authentic New York style done right, that classic Brooklyn โget outta here!โ vibe. Chris at the counter, Ernesto on the pies, and Joe running the show: tough, direct, and genuinely nice guys who clearly know what theyโre doing. The spotโs tiny, maybe 7-8 seats, but trust me, itโs worth it. Most people grab it to go or get it delivered anyway. If youโre in New York and you love real pizza, you need to eat here. Iโve tried all the famous spots, most of them feel like copies of this one. This is the real deal!!!!!!!! Donโt believe me? Message me and say otherwise and Iโll take this review down. But you wonโt. This is THE BEST in New York. Period.

When I first visited Gravesend Pizza, there was an older couple who had just finished dining and (unprovoked) they were very vocally complimenting the staff that this place was one of their favorite pizza restaurants in NYC and that they tell all of their friends about the place. Come to find out, the couple had traveled all the way from Massachusetts! They said they stop by Gravesend Pizza whenever theyโre visiting New York. That was very telling of Gravesendโs quality. So I ordered two pizza pies; One classic cheese pizza pie and a second pie split 1/2 Grandma style + 1/2 Grandma style w pepperoni + vodka sauce(?) as per recommendation from the staff named Chris. All VERY good pizzas, particularly the Grandma slice with vodka sauce + pepperoni. Itโs great to know that this solid pizza restaurant is locally available in Brooklyn! Their staff and chefs are amazing and the pizzas that they serve here are definitely above average by NYC standards, and thatโs a high bar to reach in such a competitive market! Iโve eaten a lot of pizzas in NYC and Gravesend is now one of my new favorite spots for pizza. Iโll be back again soon.

We grabbed several slices. They were all so good. The grandma vodkaroni slice was soooooo tasty! The sauce is just amazing. I know the pepperoni and the buffalo chicken were also greatly enjoyed by my party. We hadnโt had dinner so to be able to grab such good pizza was wonderful. Our hotel bartender who is born and raised in the area highly recommended this place and I have to say it does not disappoint.

I ordered from a pizza spot in Gravesend and I have to sayโฆ AMAZING. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The crust had that ideal crisp on the outside but was still soft and airy inside โ exactly how it should be. The sauce had great flavor (not too sweet, not too bland) and the cheese was perfectly melted with the best pull. You can tell when pizza is made right, and this was definitely one of those times. Gravesend does not disappoint. Iโll absolutely be ordering again.
